EYE of HORUS, This is the left eye of Horus that he lost in battle with his Uncle Seth. It was restored magically by Hathor and so now represents wholeness. On the right is the cobra, the sacred creature of the goddess Wadjet. This is also a symbol of Lower Egypt. On the left is the vulture Nekhbet, which is the symbol of Upper Egypt. It’s holding the shen ring, a concept of eternity because of its never-ending circle. The size of this papyrus painting is approximately 12" by 16".
